“There are various ways of looking at man.  From the viewpoint of science, man moves because of muscles, bones and nerves. From the viewpoint of Feng Shui, man is activated by his Ch’i. Ch’i moves the leg, and man walks.”

—HH Grandmaster Professor Thomas Lin-Yun,

The practice of Feng Shui involves assessing one’s surroundings from a different viewpoint and then making adjustments to improve the flow of life-supporting energy, Ch’i. The principles for doing this are based in ancient wisdom, keen observation and associations, training and education, intuition, and very practical and sensible knowledge.

The Chinese characters, Feng and Shui, mean wind and water.  The philosophy of Feng Shui speaks of the effect of the unseen (wind) on the seen (water) as in the Biblical teaching that we cannot see the wind, but we can see its effect in the trees.  This is exactly the principle underlying this philosophy. Feng Shui teaches us some of what is at work behind the scenes in our lives. This knowledge empowers us to make conscious choices and changes.

The essence of Feng Shui is the many and profound ways in which surroundings ultimately affect our health and wellbeing. Understanding the basic concepts and knowing how to apply them can help to change life situations that may be affecting our wellbeing, and make our homes and work spaces places that support and enhance our lives.

Feng Shui is a philosophy of wholeness, clearly demonstrating how a problem in one aspect of life, be it financial or a troubled relationship, affects every other aspect, and ultimately our health.

If you feel stuck in some aspects of your own life, work, or relationships, then learning and applying the principles of Feng Shui may help you to move out of old patterns and into healthier and more fulfilling ways of living.

I believe that knowledge of the influence of surroundings and application of Feng Shui principles are the missing 4th in the wholistic mind/body/spirit model of wellness. Lack of attention to these principles may be strongly related to recurrences of serious illness and frustrating relapses in addictive behaviors.

Re: Job search: You were the answer to our prayers at the time when we really needed help. My husband received an incredible offer within 2 weeks of your consultation. We have relocated and are settling in. God gave you a special gift and it is powerful because your work comes from the heart. Thank you.

Re: Seniors, home, health and communication issues: When I called you for a consultation, my husband and I were newly married "older" folks. He had moved into my house and he was unable to be comfortable there. We were considering selling the house. After removing some furniture and re-positioning other pieces, painting the recommended colors, and installing the recommended articles both inside and outside, we both now love our house and yard! Looking back over the year and a half since the initial appointment and follow-up emails, I see positive change and growth in all areas of our lives. Our communication continues to improve and we have both made significant progress with our health. It has been such an empowering experience for both of us!
